For my first post I’m happy to share with you my new print called Bok Choy Dream.

It is inspired by my recent hydroponic adventures.

the INSPIRATION:

One of my favorite vegetables to grow hydroponically thus far has definitely been bok choy.

Compared to what I usually purchase from the market, I did not realize how much more flavorful bok choy grown in this way would be.

It is cruciferous and slightly bitter in the most pleasant way, which reminds you right away that it belongs to the Brassicaceae (think mustard!) family.

The red variety in particular has such beautiful, deep purple leaves – see below for photos.

Below is the first colorway of this print that I made using Adobe Photoshop, which I call Hydroponic Indigo.

To bring my design to life, I created 3D renderings of Bok Choy Dream on a mesh skirt set using Browzwear VStitcher.
